3 reasons we need more Esthero shows.
Great moments from Saturday’s show at The Loft:
1. In the middle of We R In Need of A Musical Revolution (after the “Ashanti in the video” lyric): “Fuck, I’m so dated. I so fucking dated myself… and now I just sound bitter. Fuck it, I am bitter!”
2. Responding to a request from a fan: “We played Heaven Sent already! Where the fuck were you? You’re drunk! [laughs] You should totally hang out with me after…”
3. Breaking out into a rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” despite forgetting the words.

You left off the hugs and pictures she took with almost half of the audience after the show. No other artist that I know of would do that after a show. Even though she was exhausted she really made me feel like I was in her “living room.”

Hey caught the performance…Reguarding stage presence, Esthero is her own worst critic. Those self depreciating comments, but in a funny way, yet I’m still really bitter because I got dropped from Reprise, has got to stop. (in my opinion) Esthero needs to show more self confidence onstage, play more local Toronto/Hollwood shows, and bring her own set list. Screw requests. And for god sakes…Esthero, need not perform THAT inebriated.
Reguarding current Musical direction, This Retrospective Acoustic tour stuff has gotta end! (in my opinion) Heaven sent should be banned. esthero needs to buy a capo. yeah, about the New material. (turning 30 this year, no rush!)

You know.. try caipirinha, bossa nova, samba.. and throw herself into an awesome larger than life amazing show..
