The Background Story

The site is designed and maintained on a continual basis by PRC (comments and suggestions are always welcome).

The site was started in 1998 after seeing esthero perform in the ampitheatre outside the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. Originally hosted on Angelfire (if anyone knows my passwords I might be able to delete the files that are still up there), the site moved to www.nearlycivilized.com in 2001, after months of having the song stuck in my head (I was fortunate enough to have been able to visit the studio during mixing).

If you'd like to support the site (as it's currently supported by my Amex card), the best thing to do is buy music using the links sitewide. That way I get credits at Amazon.com and you get CDs that you'd be buying anyway.
